And now for something totally different...

I had the opportunity last weekend to go to a New Jersey Jackals game. The Jackals play in the Can-Am League, which I suppose is considered semi-pro. The stadium was small, so every seat had a great view.

I shot the following with a 70-200mm lens from the stands. Here's a slideshow of the full set if you'd like to see more. Enjoy.

I attended my first SnapM event in Bayonne, NJ, last week. It's a monthly gathering of photographers, models, designers, etc.

My goal was to create interesting but clean images. The shoot was in my studio using a Nikon D300, 85mm f/1.4 and strobes modified with a gridded beauty dish and gridded soft box/strip box. Enjoy!

I came across a series of photos I'd taken last month with HDR in mind and never processed. Thought it was worth a go as the image seemed quite nice.

While working on this, I decided to play with the highlight colors a bit. Had some fun. Hope you like it.

I've been shooting a lot of bleak days lately, so I took the opportunity today to make some images in the sunshine.

I've also been spending more time with my Nikon 17-55 f/2.8, which is a very nice zoom to work with. Enjoy.

Just thought I'd share the following image, which was selected as a winner in the Bergen County, N.J., "County Calendar" photo contest. It will appear in the 2008 Bergen County Calendar.

I took this at the Wings and Wheels Expo at Teterboro Airport on Sept. 16. Since it was a show of historic aircraft and automobiles, I wanted to give it a vintage feel. If you look all the way in the back of the image, you'll see a B-17 that was giving rides at the Expo.
